Dr. Reyes Velázquez pursued her dream doggedly, earning a degree in cellular molecular biology from the University of Puerto Rico and a medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine. Her journey continued as she honed her skills in the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Miami. With compassion at the heart of her practice, she was named the recipient of the Primary Care Center Award upon graduation—a testament to her dedication and her vision for a healthcare system where patients felt cared for and understood.

Over the years, it became personal when Dr. Reyes Velázquez experienced her own health struggles. These challenges opened her eyes to alternative approaches to medicine, leading her to view food as medicine and delve deeply into nutrition science and culinary medicine. This newfound insight became a

driving force behind her practice as she sought innovative solutions that intertwined traditional and alternative care.
